Double-click opens the thumbnail in the IV window. Just use IrfanView to view the expanded thumbnails (you could also just increase the size of thumbnails in the thumbnail viewer). I think these are all that would need to change/be implemented to make it a viable replacement.Īre any of these changes already in the program and I'm to stupid to see it or planned?ġ.
#Acdsee viewer full#
Ok now hear me out, The way that I would use this is mostly in detail mode and thumbnails aren't visible there.įour, the ability to look inside zip and rar files, this would be the most useful way to use this as an acdsee replacement as many programs come close but either don't have a file browser, don't see into zips/rars, or just dont work well as file viewers.įive, the viewer when you double click/open an image, it expands to full screen, and when you exit it, it goes back to the thumbnail view rather then back to the stand alone image viewer, this just makes it easier to to go back to browsing and into the next file. Third and this may seem redundant, a thumbnail viewer. Second, on the filer browser area, a favorites menu with folders we either use/go to often would be a great improvement. This allows for hitting backspace to get out of folders and select a new one to go into with enter. If any of these are already inside the program, tell me, they would be great to use.įirst off, expand thumbnails to have not only a file browser on the left side but also let us browse files in the thumbnail viewer itself too. I would love a replacement for acdsee as an image viewer, and I know the few tweaks the program needs to do it.
